- We never stop learning, and so we consider ourselves lifetime students. Over the course of our relationship with dance, our motivations and needs change. So, as instructors, it's important to know from our students: WHAT MOTIVATES YOU?
Are you here for the body confidence? If fitness is your focus, and you come to us to get up and moving, awesome! Belly dance is largely aerobic, and has so many benefits for your posture, and greater body awareness. Muscle strengthening exercises and stretches are a part of every class!
Are you here for the technique? Great! We're happy you're here! With our strong background in several facets of belly dance, and our professional focus on ATS®, you came to the right place if your motivation is having a well rounded education and training in this fantastic style of dance. We start at the beginning foundations, and work up from there!
Are you here for the rapport between yourself and your fellow dancers- being a part of something bigger? That's great too! We're all about supportive positivism between everyone, and we hope you find this dance form to be as rewarding as we do- we're all in this together! Look forward to strengthening your attention to detail and responsiveness to one another, as this style of dance is based off of non-verbal cues to communication with one another.

Belly Dance Basics - For the absolute beginner, based on the techniques and principles of PiperMethod Level 1, this class is devoted to proper dance posture and technique. Build a strong foundation suitable for any style of bellydance through simple drills and combinations. Learn basic Middle Eastern rhythms and let them get your hips moving!
American Tribal Style® Bellydance Dance Fundamentals, Level 1 - as described on the FCBD® website, get dancing in your first class! Learn the basics of ATS® belly dance including posture, gratitude meditation, formations, slow and fast moves. 6 week course.
Tribal Combinations for ATS®, Level 2 - use the steps from Level one and learn to dance improv with the group. 6 week course.
